Artisit Statement

One of the main concepts I focus on in my work is color and composition. It is very intuitive for me. It is a therapeutic process, where I tune out and let intuition guide me. I like to view this process as allowing my subconscious feeling and emotions to rise to the surface. The imagery I use walks the line between grotesque and humorous. Elements of pop culture as well as the results of growing up in suburbia are the main themes present in most of my works.
